NOTICE RELATING TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

You have chosen us, VitalAire Arabia as a home healthcare  provider of medical devices and services. In this context, we inform you that we are collecting and processing some of your personal data, including your health data, for the purposes described in this notice and therefore we are responsible for processing of your personal data within the meaning of the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and French Law No. 78-17 known as the Data Protection Act.

The collection and processing of your personal data is necessary to enable you to benefit from the home care services that we offer to you in accordance with your medical prescription and the good practices which govern our services. Thus, the purposes for processing your personal data are as follows:

• Initiate and follow the treatment prescribed,

• Carry out support, monitoring, health education and implementation of motivational programs as part of our services in order to improve your compliance to the treatment

• Sharing device usage data with your doctor  

• Monitor, evaluate and analyze the quality and content of our services, to improve and adapt them, and

• Provide you with information and advice in relation with our homecare service,

If we provide you with a connected device as part of your treatment, we need your consent for the following additional treatments and

this for remote monitoring purposes:

• the remote collection and processing by remote transmission of your data relating to the use of this device in order to help you  improve your compliance to the treatment

• the remote transmission to your doctor of your device usage data, if he requests it and this connected device allows it.

In the absence of consent, I understand that I will not be able to benefit from the homecare services that the company offers me in accordance with my medical prescription. I understand that remote monitoring is not compulsory for the completion of my treatment and that I can decide at any time to stop it without having to justify myself or incur any liability. The fact of no longer being telemonitored will not affect my relationship with my doctor.

In addition, for the purpose of continuous improvement of the quality and content of our services, we proceed to the compilation of aggregated statistics guaranteeing your anonymity and respect for your privacy.

The recipients of the personal data that we collect are: the professionals to whom you have recognized the quality of member of the care team, our company, our subcontractors and providers and in particular an approved data hosting provider, as well as any other recipient provided for by a legislative or regulatory provision, or to which you have expressly consented. 

Your personal data will be kept for the duration of your care as part of our services up to five (5) years maximum from the effective end of your treatment by our company. They will then be archived, which means that they will no longer be accessible or used and will be stored according to methods adapted and secure for their archiving nature. In accordance with the regulations, you have in particular a right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, the right to limit the processing of your data, the right to object to the processing of your data, including the hosting of your data by the hosting provider (s) designated for this purpose, the right to the portability of your data and the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data. It is being understood that such a withdrawal would mean the cessation of home care services by our company.
